Bangalore is one of the few cosmopolitan cities where many trees continue to bloom and paint the sky, with vibrant hues. Tabebuia Impetiginosa, is the reason Bangalore looks like it’s got some rouge on these days. Tabebuia, is an ornamental flowering tree, generally in yellow or light pink. Four species of the tree — Tabebuia argentea, Tabebuia rosea, Tabebuia impetiginosa and Tabebuia pallida — were brought into the city by the British in the 1900s from Central America. This is the peak flowering season for these exotic species, and lasts till the first week of April.
The pink flowering trees, against the azure blue sky and the dramatic clouds are a beautiful sight to behold. Cubbon park, is the right place to witness this. Imagine lush greenery and pink flowers blotted across the scene. Also, my friends tell me that Jayanagar 4th Block and the ORR near HSR layout are other places to spot them in full bloom. If you know more places, do comment =)

Malleshwaram is adorned with such trees, sprinkled with the flowers during this time of the year too.
Yes! I forgot about Malleshwaram
